 School Advocacy & Consultation

As a trained School Psychologist, I provide a bridge between clinical diagnosis and classroom reality. I help families navigate the complexities of IEP (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 Plans, ensuring your child’s legal rights are protected and their educational needs are met.

Integrated Support

I believe that a diagnosis is only as good as the support it creates. Because of this, advocacy is often woven into my core services:

  • Included with Assessment: When I conduct a psychological evaluation for your child, basic school consultation—including a review of the results with the school team—is included at no additional cost.

  • Integrated with Psychotherapy: For my therapy clients, I provide ongoing guidance on school-related concerns and rights as a standard part of our therapeutic work together.

Independent Advocacy Services

If you already have a diagnosis from another provider but need expert help navigating the school system, I offer standalone Advocacy Consultation. This is an out-of-pocket service that can include:

  • Detailed review of existing school records and outside evaluations.

  • Guidance on your rights under IDEA and Section 504.

  • Attendance at IEP or 504 meetings to provide professional input.

  • Assistance in drafting communications to school administration.

Why Work With a School Psychologist?

Unlike a general advocate, I have spent years working inside the school system. I speak the "language" of the school team, which allows for a more collaborative, less adversarial approach to getting your child the accommodations they deserve.
